South America from January to May surge in imports of steel products from China

 South America from January to May surge in imports of steel products from China

According to the South American Iron and Steel Institute (Alacero) data, China for the first five months of this year, total exports in South America 3.8 million tons of finished steel, surged 12%.
  During Brazil is South America's largest importer of steel products in China, imports amounted to 671,000 tons.
  South Korea finished steel exports about 52 million tons, accounting for 13.3 per cent of the total.
